Hi, I’m Zena (they/she/he).
DONA trained Postpartum Doula, Birthing From Within Birth Doula and Childbirth Mentor, and CBWS Babywearing Educator
Easing your transition to family life
I come to this work with a passion for social justice and firsthand knowledge of the lack of structures in place to support birthing people and new families. Doulas are a small bottom up response to the lack of education and a village of support for families during the vulnerable time around adding an infant to your family- be it as a birthing person, an adoptive family, a foster family, etc.
I birthed two highly spirited kiddos of my own, and as a person who loves to research (INTJ, for those MBTI geeks out there) have gone above and beyond my training in the pursuit of more knowledge to work within the systems around birth and parenting. My approach is tailored to the person or family I am working with, but I believe in the power of heart centered work and an integrative approach.
Let me ease the transition to family life through nurturing, education, empowerment, and acts of service. You are not alone.
